Players have the option of selling BOGO Golf Cards, OR, Opting out by paying the Buy Out Fee.

Fundraising Is Mandatory

• Minor - Major will be asked to sell 5 BOGO golf/food cards at a cost of $20 each (totalling $100). These MUST be paid for at registration. When you sell them you keep the money. A $50 buy-out option is available.
• T-Ball & Coach Pitch will be asked to sell 3 BOGO golf/food cards at a cost of $20 each (totalling $60). These MUST be paid for at registration. When you sell them you keep the money. A $30 buy-out option is available.
• 18U - 15U will be asked to sell 5 BOGO golf/food cards at a cost of $20 each (totalling $100). These MUST be paid for at registration. When you sell them you keep the money. A $50 buy-out option is available.

Little League Disclaimer

1. I/We the parents/guardians of the above-named candidate for a position on a Little League® team, hereby give my/our approval to participate in any and all Little League® activities including transportation to and from the activities.
2. I/We know that participation in baseball or softball may result in serious injuries and protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the local Little League®, Little League® Baseball Canada, Little League® Baseball, Inc., the organizers, sponsors, supervisors, participants and persons transporting my/our child to and from activities from any claim arising out of any injury to my/our child whether the result of negligence or for any other cause.
3. I/We agree that our child (candidate) may be required to attend a skills evaluation clinic. Based on this evaluation and/or league play performance review, the child (candidate) may be moved to a different division to prevent injury to themselves or others.
4. If applicable, I/We agree to return upon request the uniform and other equipment issued to my/our child in as good conditions as when received except for normal wear and tear.
5. I/We will furnish a certified birth certificate and/or proof of residency of the above-named candidate to League Officials.
6. I/We understand that my/our information as the parent or guardian of such above-named candidate is sent by the local league to Little League® Baseball Canada and Little League® International each year. Such use of information by Little League® Baseball Canada and Little League® International can be found at www.littleleague.ca. You may opt-out of communications from Little League® Baseball Canada and Little League® International at any time.

COMMUNICABLE DISEASE EXCLUSION

(For use on liability policies)

1. 1. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary within this policy, this policy does not cover all actual or alleged loss, liability, damage, compensation, injury, sickness, disease, death, medical payment, defence cost, cost, expense or any other amount, directly or indirectly and regardless of any other cause contributing concurrently or in any sequence, originating from, caused by, arising out of, contributed to by, resulting from, or otherwise in connection with a Communicable Disease or the fear or threat (whether actual or perceived) of a Communicable Disease.
2. 2. For the purposes of this endorsement, loss, liability, damage, compensation, injury, sickness, disease, death, medical payment, defence cost, cost, expense or any other amount, includes, but is not limited to, any cost to clean-up, detoxify, remove, monitor or test for a Communicable Disease.
3. 3. As used herein, a Communicable Disease means any disease which can be transmitted by means of any substance or agent from any organism to another organism where:
4. 3.1. the substance or agent includes, but is not limited to, a virus, bacterium, parasite or other organism or any variation thereof, whether deemed living or not, and
5. 3.2. the method of transmission, whether direct or indirect, includes but is not limited to, airborne transmission, bodily fluid transmission, transmission from or to any surface or object, solid, liquid or gas or between organisms, and
6. 3.3. the disease, substance or agent can cause or threaten bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, damage to human health, human welfare or property damage.

Why have our fees changed?

The City of Thunder Bay recently announced that they will be charging baseball leagues in the city a $100.00 fee per team for the use of city baseball diamonds. Since we registered 46 teams last year and anticipate registering a similar number of teams for our 2024 season; our cost will be $4600.00.

What does this mean for Port Arthur Nationals? Unfortunately, a slight increase in registration fees. As a small sport organization, we cannot absorb an annual fee of this amount, hence the increase in fees.
